One Year On
Harrison Clark Incorporating Jordans Celebrate Successful Merger. crack
The merger between leading Worcester law firm Harrison Clark and Jordans in Cheltenham exactly one year ago has attracted an unprecedented increase in demand for the strengthened and expanded services in the Cheltenham office.
Celebrating the first anniversary of the alliance at the firm’s Cheltenham office on 1st June, partner Barbara Jordan confirmed that the merger had delivered substantial benefits for both business and private clients across Gloucestershire and beyond: “As Harrison Clark incorporating Jordans, our vision was to expand beyond private legal expertise, to providing a full spectrum of services for business clients. Just twelve months on we are delighted to confirm that not only has our business services department but demand for all our services has grown - to the extent that our staff numbers at Cheltenham have increased from six to 25,” she said.
Two further additions to the Harrison Clark Cheltenham legal team serve to further underline the firm’s continued expansion in the area. Senior Associate Matthew Waddington, a family law solicitor who is a specialist in children’s law, has joined from Harrison Clark’s Worcester office adding valuable experience to Cheltenham’s family law department. Rhian Reese, a respected wills and probate solicitor who joins in June from Swansea-based Howell’s Solicitors, swells the expertise in Cheltenham’s private law team.
“Matthew and Rhian set the scene for the next phase in our development here on the Promenade in Cheltenham,” continues Barbara. “By choosing Harrison Clark clients can be sure of accessing City-quality, regionally located legal expertise across all aspects of law - whether it involves a personal or business matter.”
As well as Cheltenham, Harrison Clark Solicitors has offices in Worcester and Birmingham. In 2009 the firm was yet again recognised for the quality of its work through a listing in the prestigious Legal 500 and Chamber and Partners lists of the major firms in England and Wales. The firm is also one of only eight UK-based members of MSI, an international legal and accountancy network, enabling it to handle global and cross-border cases.
