Over 270 walkers will be stepping out from Cheltenham Racecourse at dawn on Saturday to take part in a truly special event to either celebrate the memory of a loved one or to enjoy a fun morning raising money for charity. A record number of participants have already signed up to take part in the special ten mile walk which will mean an increase in funds raised for the charity.

“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone bright and early at the Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday morning, we hope that all the participants will be wide awake and ready to embark on the truly special event.” said Sally Davies, Regional Fundraising and Events Manager for Winston’s Wish.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to our corporate supporters at Creed for supplying all of the food for both of our walks, G4S for generously sponsoring the half way point and providing water, to the Cheltenham Racecourse for allowing us to use the venue and Fitness First and Chelsea Building Society for providing items for the goody bags. There is still time to register your place; sign up online today to make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun” Sally continued.
