Cotswold success story continues with Gloucestershire new homes launch! crack

The Cotswold Homes success story continues with the exciting, highly successful launch of the company's newest development, Gatcombe Grange, in the historic ideally located Gloucestershire town of Minchinhampton.

A special launch event of the development was staged by Cotswold Homes and its Selling Agent, Perry Bishop Chambers, at the Minchinhampton Market Hall on Saturday, 25th September. There was an exceptional response and the event was well attended by those seeking a brand new home offering the best of both worlds – every modern day living convenience and a superb atmospheric rural Gloucestershire location.

Explained Cotswold Homes Sales Manager, Terri Hayes - Pugh, “We were all extremely busy throughout the four-hour launch - the response was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Our visitors were really impressed at the quality of design and specification of our new homes at Gatcombe Grange.”

Gatcombe Grange is an exclusive cul-de-sac development of just five, superbly styled and presented 4-bedroom new homes.

A wonderful location, the thriving town of Minchinhampton is a most sought-after area with a highly regarded primary school and 600 acres of surrounding National Trust common land.

There is also a doctors, dentists, library and a pub plus several coffee shops, bistros & restaurants, organic dairy and local farm shop, a corner shop and a sports & social club with football and rugby teams.

There is a strong sense of community with a good social network. The surrounding villages also offer some well regarded private and public-sector schools including a Steiner school. Across the common is the favoured Minchinhampton Golf Club course, several gastro pubs and the renowned Winstones Ice Cream factory.

The nearest town of Nailsworth is approximately 1 mile away, and offers an excellent array of shops and amenities including a wonderfully diverse selection of fashionable boutiques, shops, salons, antiques & furniture stores and galleries for local crafts people who stage their own annual arts festival . The town also offers banks, post office, butchers’, grocery shops, doctors, dentists and a public library.

Leisure amenities include a leisure center, and clubs for golf bowls riding, gliding and polo.

Transport links from Minchinhampton are excellent with the bustling town of Stroud - recently named in the top ten most popular Cotswold Towns - three miles away with its direct mainline train station link to London Paddington in just over 90 minutes.

Junction 13 of the M5 is approximately 10 miles distant at Stonehouse linking up and down the motorway to Cheltenham and Gloucester. The A419 runs to the popular market town of Cirencester and then to Junction 15 of the M4 at Swindon and on down the motorway to London.

This select development comprises just three detached and two semi-detached homes, each with front and rear gardens. These 4-bedroom properties, in this exceptional location, offer a great deal of house for the money.

Each will benefit from stunning contemporary kitchens with integrated appliances, versatile accommodation and en-suite master bedroom suites. Stylish, contemporary gleaming white bathroom suites will feature throughout.

As Terri explains, “We are sure we are building homes that really do offer that little bit more to the discerning buyer in terms of luxury finish and quality specification – and today, wherever you build, that is a more essential requirement for successful sales than ever before.”

The homes at Gatcombe Grange are priced from £334,999.

Paul Audritt of the Perry Bishop and Chambers Nailsworth office, who is handling the sale of the properties, says, “This really is a superb development and to find such spacious, contemporary modern, properties in an historic and traditional location is an exceptional opportunity.

Cotswold Homes is establishing a reputation for building superbly designed and presented homes of high specification in highly desirable, rural locations. It is a formula that is really working for them and it is sure to prove a success here at Gatcombe Grange too.”

As the summer comes to an end, the new homes marketplace remains competitive, but as Cotswold Homes launched the delightful Gatcombe Grange development this weekend, the company reported that, following an excellent period of successful marketing across the Region, three other developments - Avon Mews &The Spa in the village of Holt near Bath and Meadow View, so handy for the motorway, at Cromhall - had all but sold out, with just one house remaining at Cromhall.

Added Terri, “It’s been a very busy time for us and we are delighted to see these properties become cherished family homes. Judging by the response to Saturday’s launch, the homes at Gatcombe Grange will be just as quick to sell. Our recent sales success means we are actively seeking more new sites to buy and develop into next year.
