A colourful autumn and sparkling winter awaits shoppers at Beechwood Shopping Centre where the latest seasonal fashions and gifts are now in store, including special offers from Debenhams, Next, Cargo and Thorntons, fantastic variety from a unique range of favourite independents and some great new shops that have recently opened in time for Christmas.

From warm woolly jumpers to glowing woodland scented candles, you can catch new season fashions, choose from a dazzling selection of seasonal and festive gifts, see all your favourite Disney characters or pick up a copy of the latest video game. Whether browsing or buying, looking for that special gift or the latest must have, you are sure to be inspired.

Entering the covered shopping centre from Cheltenham’s High Street, visitors will find that Beechwood will be buzzing on November 20th when it kicks off its Christmas festivities and comes alive with fun and fantasy with its Christmas lights switch-on and the beginning of the Cheltenham town Christmas parade.

The programme for the day includes costume characters and entertainers with live music throughout the afternoon from Gloucestershire band The Ramrods, formed in the 1960s with Brian Jones of Rolling Stones fame.

Radio station Star FM will compere events and get everyone in the mood for the big switch-on before Father Christmas arrives to turn on the lights with help from pantomime characters from the Everyman Theatre’s Cinderella and the centre’s very own Beechwood Bear. More details about the day will be on the Beechwood website soon along with details of some surprise 4-legged guests who will be visiting the centre with Father Christmas in December.

For car users, Beechwood’s 400 space car park, which is accessible via Albion Street, has the Park Mark safer parking accreditation and will deliver you right into the heart of Beechwood and onto Cheltenham’s High Street making it the ideal choice for shoppers visiting the town.

Beechwood’s two shopping levels are linked by escalators, stairs and lifts and with ATM cash machines located on the balcony level and car park level 2a which are free to use, and pay on foot and card facilities as well, using the car park couldn’t be easier

There is also Cheltenham’s only Shopmobility scheme, which is run by the Borough Council, and is located on level 1a of the car park and public and disabled toilets and a parent room which can be found on the first floor near the lifts with an additional parent room/disabled toilet on the ground floor.

All this adds up to make Beechwood the perfect choice to meet all your seasonal shopping needs along with fun and excitement for the whole family.
