B2B Tewkesbury

Free Business Networking Event crack

Act now to reserve your free place at the B2B Tewkesbury Networking Event taking place on 18th November at Hatherley Manor Hotel.

Organised by Tewkesbury Borough Council, in association with local business Smartline Ltd, it will follow the success of the first B2B Event, which attracted over 130 businesses.

It will include a range of seminars, the opportunity to network over lunch and the chance for businesses to build new contacts. There will also be a wide selection of exhibitors on hand to offer advice and services.

The event will be officially opened at 10am by Councillor Phil Taylor, Lead Member for Economic Development & Promotion, Tewkesbury Borough Council, followed by a series of short talks focussed on the new era of Government and how this may affect local businesses.

“Following the first business event we held in April and the fantastic response we had to that, we wanted to build on this success and host another event for local businesses in and around
Tewkesbury.

“We hope we can establish these networking events into the calendar once or twice a year, as they provide a real boost to the working community.”

The Comprehensive Spending Review and the localism agenda will be key topics at the event, and Mike Dawson, Chief Executive of Tewkesbury Borough Council, will speak on the potential effects in the Borough.

There will also be seminars on the proposal for new Local Enterprise Partnerships – which will bring together councils and business and replace the current Regional Development Agencies – as well as advice on how to market your business effectively in these times of change.

The event will conclude with a networking buffet lunch between 12.30 - 1.30pm which will be free for the first 50 delegates.

Businesses are also being offered the opportunity to exhibit at the event and promote their product or service to the many delegates that will be attending. You can do this for a small fee, which will give you use of an exhibition stand, power supply point and wifi. Other benefits include promotion of your business on the B2B website as well as enjoying a complimentary lunch and refreshments.
