Beechwood Shopping Centre

The Beechwood makes shopping for your Valentine’s gifts easier...

As you ponder your St Valentine’s Day gifts this year you may not give a thought to the patron saint or the origins of the tradition, but it’s clear that February has long been known as a month of romance.

Millions of cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts are exchanged every year and it’s estimated that in Britain we spend more than £500m wooing our loved one – or those we hope to be our loved one.

To help make choosing a gift a little easier, Beechwood Shopping Centre’s stores are full of tempting ideas. Guys, you wouldn’t go far wrong with flowers, chocolates, jewellery or perfume – and we have them all.

Thorntons has long been known for its Continental range of chocolates but now there’s so much more to choose from. For that ultimate special gift consider the Perfect Heart – choose a half heart chocolate shell and personalise it with 12 chocolates from their deli range. Thorntons will wrap it and tie it with a luxury bow – all for £7.99.

Thorntons also has the Cheeky Devil chocolate model for £2.49, Alphabet Truffles for £14.99 and heart plaques for £3.99 which can be personalised with your romantic message.

For a more permanent gift visit SilverMine for quality silver jewellery with precious stones from amber to diamonds. Jewellery Stop too has a range of fashionable jewellery to complement the latest colour fashion trends.

There’s so much to choose from in Beechwood from a fluffy toy to beauty treatments at DestinationSkin. The real romantics might be thinking about popping the question on St Valentine’s Day. If so, then Debenhams’ wedding fair just four days later on February 18 and 19 is a must. There will be a variety of traders in the centre to fulfil your wedding wishes, from cars to dresses, cakes and gifts. And ladies, don’t forget, it’s a leap year this year!

But it’s not just about romance. Beechwood has plenty to offer all the family – toys, clothes, furniture, gadgets and music – and it’s a perfect place to relax over a coffee or light lunch at Caffé La Scala.

The centre is open seven days a week with two levels linked by escalators, lifts and a scenic lift overlooking the garden area. There are ATM cash machines on the balcony level and car park level 2a which are free to use and a Shopmobility scheme run by Cheltenham Borough Council, which is easily accessible by car on level 1a of the car park. There’s also a car valet on level 2a who will clean your car while you enjoy shopping.

Public and disabled toilets and a parent room are on the first floor near the lifts with an additional parent room/disabled toilet on the ground floor. Undercover parking is available for 400 cars and if you’re visiting for the first time and need a little help finding us, the Sat Nav postcode is GL52 2RG.
