If you’re taking mum shopping what better way to make her feel at home than with a visit to Beechwood and after all that shopping brunch, lunch and a welcome cup of tea await at Caffé La Scala.

Beechwood shopping centre is easy to find on Cheltenham’s High Street and parking couldn’t be easier. Undercover parking is available for 400 cars and if you’re visiting for the first time and need a little help finding us, the Sat Nav postcode is GL52 2RG. The centre is open seven days a week. Its two levels are linked by escalator, lifts and a scenic lift overlooking the garden area.
There are two ATM cash machines on the balcony level and car park level 2a, which are free to use, and a Shopmobility scheme run by Cheltenham Borough Council. This is easily accessible by car on level 1a of the car park.

Public and disabled toilets and a parent room are on the first floor near the lifts with a new Changing Places toilet, the first in the Cheltenham area, for use by the disabled with more space and better equipment.
The Changing Places Consortium is a group of organisations working to support the rights of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities to gain and improve access to their community.

Owen Acland, Beechwood’s centre manager, said: “We are delighted to be the first in the area to offer this new facility. There are many people with profound disabilities who do not have access to such facilities and whose freedom to enjoy simple trips out is affected as a result. With these facilities, the improved access, space and a cleaner, safer environment we can better meet the needs of a wider disabled community.”

Whether shopping for a special treat for someone, treating yourself to a new outfit or gadget or checking out the latest top brands, you can be sure you’re in a clean, safe environment. Beechwood’s cleaning and security team prides itself on providing a first class service and its efforts have been recognised with the Contract of the Year Award from Westgrove, Beechwood’s service provider.
