A parent’s prayer has been answered; Meet Cass Vician who has launched Grubby Buggy.
Grubby Buggy is an innovative unique service, offering pushchair and child car seat valeting in Gloucestershire.
Grubby Buggy is the brainchild of Cass Vician, who came up with the idea whilst heavily pregnant and was tasked with the job of cleaning her buggy in time for the new arrival.
“I decided to get someone to do it for me as I had so much to do and my due date was rapidly approaching. After a frustrating search I realised there wasn’t anybody in Gloucestershire offering this kind of service and I didn’t feel I had the equipment or knowledge to do my own and provide my baby with a neat, clean, buggy free from germs and grime.”
“I came to the conclusion that there must be lots of other parents in the same position not knowing how to give mucky pushchairs a spruce up.
“In addition, many people buy and sell second hand equipment, so I realised if a company could clean them to look like new, they would fetch a better price and give parents peace of mind knowing dirt and germs have been thoroughly removed.”
“After my maternity leave ended, I decided not to return to my job as a bookkeeper and take the plunge and launch Grubby Buggy. A lot of work has gone into the development and method of cleaning the buggies. I knew the cleaning procedure had to be quick whilst ensuring the process is chemical-free, posing no health risk to children and being environmentally friendly.”
Grubby Buggy has gone from strength to strength. Cass has gone into partnership with the Play Farm at Cheltenham’s Brewery, so you can have your buggy cleaned whilst your little ones play and she offers a comprehensive valet service, which means collection and delivery back to your door within 24 hours or your money back.
