The feelgood factor

Niall Foster from Heart provides the feelgood factor for June

Heart’s Feelgood ALBUM OF THE MONTH
Overexposed by Maroon 5
After the huge success of the single Moves Like Jagger, LA pop rock band Maroon 5 release their fourth studio album on 26th June. Although guitar driven, one of the stand out features of this band is the sweet vocals produced by lead singer Adam Levine, who is currently working as a coach on the American talent show The Voice, on which they recently performed the song Payphone from the album revealing a more disco flavoured sound.

Heart’s Feelgood SONG OF THE MONTH
My Kind Of Love by Emile Sande
Super talented Emile Sande follows up the hugely successful Next To Me with this release on 8th June. Described by Simon Cowell as one of his favourite songwriters of the moment she has penned hits for the likes of Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole and Alesha Dixon.

Heart’s Feelgood FILM OF THE MONTH
There has been a lot of mystery surrounding this film. Almost ten years since the film was first conceived as a prequel to the Alien films, director Ridley Scott has released this futuristic sci-fi adventure that follows a spaceship crew as they follow a star map found amongst an ancient civilisation that leads them to seek the origins of humanity. It stars Guy Pearce, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender and we can be sure it will be a visual treat as well as a beautifully crafted film. Released 1st June.

Jubilee month will see one of the biggest showbiz events of the year when Gary Barlow presents the Diamond Jubilee Concert on 4th June. Celebrating 60 years of the Queen's reign, the Take That star has brought together a line-up that includes music royalty in the form of Sir Tom Jones, Sir Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney as well as Jessie J, JLS and Robbie Williams, who recently joked that this could be the gig to bag himself a knighthood! Against the backdrop of Buckingham Palace, this show promises to be one of the most spectacular concerts ever presented in the UK.

Gloucestershire boy Nathan from The Wanted gives us a tease about the work in progress of their album Nathan Sykes @NathanTheWanted Listening to some of the demos the boys were writing last week makes me very excited for the album!!
