Stacey Budd looks at what is hot in April even if the weather isn’t

If the April showers are casting a grey crowd over your weekend, then fear not: we have found the perfect cure for the prolonged-winter blues. If the British weather is leaving you feeling washed out, and your summer holiday is just out of reach, then why not head over to Kukui for a taste of something tropical?

Found at the bottom of Bath Road, just off the High Street, Kukui is located in the heart of Cheltenham town centre. The Tiki club boasts an array of enticing cocktails and in-house DJs, all set within a South Pacific themed venue, which extends a warm welcome to club-goers until the early hours.

Browse through the drinks menu and choose from a range of tempting cocktails, from Pina Colada and Mai Tai, to Fruit Punch and Margarita. With a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits on offer, as well as variety of Champagne, you’re sure to find something that takes your fancy in the ‘Kukui Passport.’

Kukui also hosts a range of club nights throughout the week, so whatever your mood, you’re sure to find something to suit in this Hawaiian haven. Mojito Mondays offer 2-4-1 cocktails, drinks-sharers and discount student prices throughout the night.

Cocoloco runs every Thursday, bringing a mix of party anthems, along with Funk, Soul, and RnB hits. The CocoCam also runs throughout the evening, to make sure your treasured moments are captured on film.

Friday means Tiki Treats, with a range of Tiki inspired cocktails to quench your thirst, while the DJ plays the best in Chart and RnB hits. And finally Saturday brings the ‘Passport to Paradise’, inviting the people of Cheltenham to dance the night away to the best Chart music.
So don’t let the dreary British landscape get you down this weekend. Head on over to Kukui for a little taste of paradise.
