WTF Vintage @ Beechwood Shopping Centre

There's a treat in store for lovers of vintage clothing as Beechwood shopping centre welcomes WTF Vintage. Fashion queen Kate Siller, who has caught the eye of celebrity clientele, has been open weekends only up to now but will open every day during April.

Kate has had a long-standing ambition to open a shop in Cheltenham and was delighted with the chance to test out the market with a trial period in Beechwood. If the trial proves successful she hopes to remain in the shopping centre on a permanent basis.

Kate’s eye for vintage style has attracted the custom of stars of reality TV shows The Only Way is Essex and Made In Chelsea, and online store ASOS also stocks her wares. She began by holding parties and buying for private clients before opening her first boutique in Evesham.

The shop is open in Beechwood 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4.30pm on Sundays in the unit between Western Computer and Thorntons.

Despite the chilly weather our other fashion retailers have their eye on summer and are stocking a brilliant range of gorgeous clothes. Go on, treat your wardrobe to a spring makeover. With plans afoot to offer more than great shopping, Beechwood is looking at more ways to help the community. Centre manager Owen Acland said: “Our Support Your Schools was a great success last year and this time round we are working on a community cash back campaign and we will soon be announcing details of our chosen charity, which will be a local organisation and one that we plan to support throughout the year.

”Just round the corner in Winchcombe Street, a new restaurant is also setting its stall out to support charitable organisations. Paul Phillips, who owns Tangberry’s and who grew up in South Africa, has created a £150 bacon butty to raise money for SKRUM, a British charity which helps children in Swaziland learn to play rugby, and the Regular Forces Employment Association. There are more traditionally priced items on the menu too so why not give them a try.

Beechwood offers easy parking in the town centre and its 400-space car park has a car valet service on level 2a. The sat nav postcode to enter to find our car park is GL52 2RG. All you need to do is leave your car with Car Valet UK and they’ll clean it while you shop; it’s as simple as that.

The shopping centre’s normal opening times are 8:30am to 6pm Mondays to Saturdays and 8.30am to 5pm on Sundays.
