Calling all Robins

This month from Cheltenham Town Football Club

Cheltenham Town are throwing open the gates and offering free league football to junior fans next season as well as giving big new deals to students. Youngsters of junior school age will have the chance to become a Junior Robin for free and sit or stand and enjoy all the league action at the Abbey Business Stadium for nothing.

It’s the biggest ticket initiative the club has ever introduced and is being launched to win more young support.

“We want more youngsters to come and enjoy football and support the Robins. We want to encourage and welcome the fans of the future and we want to make it as easy as possible for them,” said Chairman Paul Baker.

“The Flying Squad we launched this season has been a big success and has shown just how many youngsters enjoy the opportunity to come and watch football. What we want to do is to make it happen for as many children as possible and we have a responsibility to the local community to give as much as we can,” he added.

Over the next few weeks and months the Free Junior Robins offer is being rolled out to all local schools, youth teams and other groups as part of the club’s plans for the future and policy of building new partnerships with the community.

The Robins are also offering better value for teenagers and students by increasing their ticket offer of £5 to stand and £7 to sit at league games to include all 17 and 18 year-olds and full-time students. This means that all youngsters now have the chance to follow the club for free or at heavily discounted prices.

Season ticket holders are being offered a new deal with extra rewards. Prices are being increased by just £5 but fans will get special deals on tickets for friends, hospitality at the club, discount at the club shop, half-price travel club membership as well as a free drink in the bar and the chance to buy extra FA Cup tickets.

All other ticket prices will be fixed in the summer when the club takes stock of the football year and price rises will be considered which means season ticket holders are being offered the best deal.

Paul Baker added,” We have a great set of fans and can’t thank them enough for sticking with us over the years and are doing our very best to give them value for money. For the Club to keep building for the future both on and off the pitch we need them more then ever.
